Pre-Appointment Prep
Mortgage Protection Virtual
Preparing for a Virtual Appointment is a little different than going Face-Face. The appointment starts long before you show up to the house. There are some key steps you need to take before you actually meet with the client.
Make sure your Calendly is Set Up and the reminders are going out to your client. Each agent is a little different on how many reminders go out to the Client. Some have 2-3 Texts and an Email. Some have 4-5 Texts. Meet together with your manager and discuss how you would like your reminders to go out. If you don’t have Calendly yet, then you need to do them yourself. But whether you do it by Calendly or manually, REMINDERS ARE A MUST!!
Run the numbers properly before going out on the appointment. Ask your manager what the best options are for that particular client. Run the numbers for the first month with your manager. If a person is sick or has a medical condition, they will get a rating. Which means their policy might cost more. If your client has a medical condition, talk to your manager about what rating you should give them.
Prepare your Virtual Presentation Powerpoint. These are always adapted to the client. Whether they are single or married or a Safe Haven Plan or Cash Back plan. Create the powerpoint so it is ready.
Know the type of person you are going to see. This isn’t a situation where you can just wing it. You need to know who you are meeting with. An engineer is going to respond differently to your presentation than an auto mechanic will. Know whom you are going to visit and know a little bit about them.
Never, never, never call and confirm your appointments. These are virtual appointments. You send the reminders and you show up.
Prepare your Virtual Background. More and more people are not liking blurred out backgrounds. They want to see the real you. Be authentic. Prepare your Virtual Background appropriately.
Dress for success. Look sharp. Before you go online look your best. Have your hair cut clean. They buy you first.
