You will soon find out that the hard part about this job isn’t making the sale, it is getting the sale PAID FOR.
There are some very important steps to take after making the sale. The sooner you get your cases out of underwriting the happier the client is and the quicker you get paid. To master the art of getting your policies out of underwriting will tremendously increase your success in this business.
1. Thank You card - When you return to the office the first thing you have to do is write them a Thank You card expressing thanks to them for choosing Corebridge and that they will appreciate the program.
2. Schedule the Exam - Always preset the exam for within 72 hours. The number for the nurses is _________________._____.
3. Google Paid For Tracker - Record everything on the Paid For Tracker Spread sheet. This is a sheet we can share with you on google drive. Record the right names, numbers, targets and commissions. This will be the most important thing to you in getting cases paid for. Whether you have been here for 2 days or 2 years you will never stop using your policies in underwriting sheet.
4. Move your way through the Paid For Tracker – Now you can follow everything on the Paid For Tracker. Call the clients every week, send out texts, keep in contact with them etc.
5. Call your Clients WEEKLY!!! - This is VERY IMPORTANT. You don’t know how much easier this makes the delivery and it keeps the clients your friends throughout the 4 weeks it takes to get them out of underwriting and qualified.
6. Deliver Policy - After the client has been approved and PAID FOR you want to deliver the policy as soon as possible. You want to do this during the non-selling hours, perhaps during the day at work or in the early evening before your appointments. You want to use this time to resale the policy. You do not just want to drop it off and leave. Go over the good things about the policy and remind them why they purchased it in the first place.
